            Very large hail across northwest side of Golden Lake.
            Also some 2 inch branches broken down.

            Large swath of quarter to hen egg sized hail fell across
            portions of Edendale township through 550 PM CDT.

7 miles NE of hope, Steele County.

Tornado, reported by NWS storm survey.


            This tornado tracked for over 3 miles to the south
            southeast and lifted around 6 miles ENE of hope by 558 PM
            CDT. The torando damaged numerous trees in shelter benlts
            and snapped a few power poles along its path. Peak winds
            estimated to 110 mph. Maximum width to 800 yards.

Tornado, reported by NWS storm survey.


            Spotter previously had reported this as a funnel cloud. A
            damage survey found that the tornado tracked roughly
            southward for around miles to near 6 WSW of Galesburg by
            621 PM CDT. Numerous trees were snapped in shelter belts
            along the path... beans field were scoured... and two power
            poles were snapped. Maximum width estimated at 300 yards.
            Peak wind estimated to 110 mph.
