northern Sedgwick County in south central Kansas...
Harvey County in south central Kansas...
southeastern Reno County in south central Kansas...

* until 630 PM CDT

* at 558 PM CDT... National Weather Service meteorologists were
tracking a strong thunderstorm near Newton... moving northeast at
35 mph. Another strong thunderstorm was located near
Hesston... also moving northeast.

Pea to dime size hail... and wind gusts up to 55 mph will be possible
with these storms.

* Locations impacted include...
Newton... Park city... Valley Center... Hesston... Maize... Halstead...
North Newton... Sedgwick... Colwich... Haven... Burrton... Mount Hope...
Whitewater... Andale... Bentley... Walton... Newton Airport...
Cheney Lake and Cheney State Park.

Be prepared as these storms could intensify.
