A record rainfall of 6.43 inches was set at North Charleston SC
today. This breaks the old record of 2.61 set in 2006.

            Ft Pulaski nos tide gage peaked at 9.52 ft MLLW during
            the evening high tide. Shallow coastal flooding
            typically begins along the GA coast at 9.2 ft MLLW.

            Tybee ocean Rescue reported observing multiple rip
            currents since 930 am... in multiple locations along the
            beach... ranging from 6 to 12 feet in width and 20 to
            150 feet in length.
